Bio

Celia Dottore is an artist, curator and writer living and working in Naarm/Melbourne.

Working primarily in sterling silver, along with found and collected materials, her work explores concepts of memory, ritual, superstition and sentimentality.

Celia holds a Bachelor of Visual Art and Applied Design from Adelaide College of the Arts and a Master of Arts (Studies in Art History) from the University of Adelaide.

Since 2008, she has developed a concurrent career in curatorial research, exhibitions and project management for Jewellers and Metalsmiths Group of Australia Conference, Flinders University Museum of Art, Art Gallery of South Australia and Craft Victoria.
